~ ERIC CLARKE ~
Trainer, Teacher and Clinician

Eric Clarke has been professionally training horses and educating students for over 25 years. He has studied under horsemen
such as John Lyons, Pat Parelli, Ray Hunt, Lee Smith and Dave Seay. Eric believes in taking a progressive approach to training.
As he puts it, "I feel that people miss out on the other aspects of training and just tend to concentrate on the physical.
If they could just get their horse feeling good about the process, then the progress is easy."
While using the basis of Natural Horsemanship, Eric incorporates Classical Principles in order to build a far more progressive
program. This creates a horse that is well-rounded not only mentally but also physically. Ultimately, regardless of what interests
you have in horses, a soft, responsive, relaxed and more symmetrical horse is beneficial.
Eric has worked with a diverse group of individuals and horses of various disciplines. A majority of Eric's students have
trained under his watchful eye for many years. He provides them with a strong foundation, allowing each to progress through
advanced work. His techniques form lasting changes instead of short term fixes.
According to Eric, "It's not all about the horse. It is up to us to learn how to teach what we desire from them.
To accomplish that, we must take a good look at ourselves and be willing to make changes in our own lives in order to have
a rewarding relationship with our horses."
