Next your horse needs to yeild to your hand or whatever is attached
to your hand such as a lead rope or rein. When you put energy and intent into your hand and put it on your horse, he
needs to yeild away from the pressure.
The same goes for your lead rope, whether you are leading, lunging or directing him in any other
manner with pressure from the rope or halter. A horse that resists this or even pulls to create more pressure either
does not understand what is being asked or is being defient when he knows what you are asking.
Thirdly, the horse must yeild to your rein when you ride. Pressure on the rein indicates
he does not understand and gets braced or he is being resistant to your leadership. Of course, the rider make sure if
there is a bit in the horses mouth, it is not harsh or being used harshly as this will most definately cause issue.
