I've been coming to EquQuest now for almost 3 years. I ride a Thoroughbred by the name of Cosmo. He is a 16'1 blood bay
and his grandfather is Northern Dancer. He was abandoned and spent the first three years of his life in a stall. I've been
working with him for 2 years and he is doing great.
I love coming here because what they do makes sense. You can teach a horse to respond to any cue, but at EquQuest, they
use the horses' natural instincts. They understand different horses react differently and they adapt to that horse.
They don't "break" horses to the saddle but, instead "start" them under saddle. Therefore their horses
are friendly with a lot of spirit. At the same time the horses' are so reliable you can literally go out in the pasture and
just get on them. It's great to be able to trust your horse that much.
Since they breed their own horses, they know what's happened from the moment of birth, so they know every inch of their
horses. Plus there is nothing like watching a foal be born.
Like I said, it just makes sense.
